One of the obvious aspects of podcasting is using your voice. And using it properly. If you’re looking for some more information about how to improve your voice technique in your podcast, I’d suggest checking out the Voice Over Experts Podcast from Voices.com.
The very popular among podcasters audio recording application, Audacity has received an update. Podcasting News has a full rundown of the changes, including many bug fixes. It is nice to see some interface fixes, too, as I’ve felt Audacity has always suffered on the UI side.

The Bugle is published by The Times Online and features funny men John Oliver (from The Daily Show) and Andy Zaltzman. I listened to it for the first time today during a Mother’s Day roadtrip. It was so funny, it almost became dangerous for driving. If generally like British humor (who doesn’t?!) and you enjoy John Oliver on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, give this podcast a listen. Note that the topics covered and language used isn’t necessarily safe for work or young children.

Started in October, The Penguin Podcast is listed as a podcast with “book extracts, author interviews and features” from Penguin Books and is a way for Penguin to market their authors and audiobooks. But they’re not featuring just any authors  the first episode had a reading from Freakanomics and Jamie Oliver, the (not) naked chef. A really well-produced podcast, it is sure to please any Penguin fans.
