Yahoo! to Ditch Podcasting

The folks at Podcasting News noticed a message at the top of the Yahoo! Podcasts site which plainly states that Yahoo! will be shutting down their podcast portal and the end of October. No reason was given, but I’ll go along with speculation that iTunes Store already dominate the space and it simply wasn’t worth Yahoo!’s time or money (especially considering their internal restructuring to cut costs).
