A new podcast by British actor and comedian Stephen Fry has so far covered everything from banter about his broken arm to in-depth quotes and analysis from Oscar Wilde about wallpaper and the American psyche. It’s a truly brilliant podcast and I hope he continues the series.
The Bugle is published by The Times Online and features funny men John Oliver (from The Daily Show) and Andy Zaltzman. I listened to it for the first time today during a Mother’s Day roadtrip. It was so funny, it almost became dangerous for driving. If you generally like British humor (who doesn’t?!) and you enjoy John Oliver on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, give this podcast a listen. Note that the topics covered and language used isn’t necessarily safe for work or young children.

Podcast Free America is dedicated to publishing authoritative information on podcasting for people of all technical levels. Whether a geek or computer shy, Podcast Free America has information that you can use to learn more about podcasting.
The name Podcast Free America is a play on the pirate radio station Radio Free America, which was a rebellion against the FCC and its control of the radio waves, as well as Radio Free Europe, which is a pro-democracy organization that was particulary active in the cold war era. Podcast Free America is not about freeing America of podcasts, but freeing podcasts from only the technical circles, therefore promoting them to people of all technical levels.
The website was started by Ryan Irelan. He is a podcasting author, consultant and speaker. Ryan's interest in podcasting came about from his brief experience as a freelance sound engineer and some formal audio training during his undergraduate years in college. His fascination with audio and radio (particulary AM) has been around since childhood. Podcasting is the perfect mix of technology and passion and that drives him to help others - individuals, businesses and organizations - to evaluate how podcasting can help them.
To contact Ryan about podcasting and how you can get started, email him and he'd be glad to help.
